About the Event

Join us for the UM Transplant Center's 17th Annual Vita Redita Gala & Auction.

Vita Redita means "Life Restored" in Latin. The phrase captures the essence of life-saving organ transplantation.

Tommy Schomaker is our speaker. Tommy received his new heart as a child. He is celebrating ten years with is gift of life this year. Tommy attended Camp Michitanki for many years and is frequently invited to speak in support of organ donation.

Our guests have a rare opportunity to visit the Wolverines' locker room at Michigan Stadium and get on the football field to kick a field goal and take photos. The Moveable Feast presents our strolling dinner and premium bar service.

The evening includes an entertaining live auction, silent auction with mobile bidding, inspiring speaker, music and more.

Complimentary valet parking is provided.

The gala is black tie optional.

Proceeds benefit the UM Transplant Center including our patient emergency fund, Camp Michitanki, and other important initiatives.
